DevOpsDays Cairo 2026 Conference Call for Proposals

“Sustainable DevOps in the Agentic AI Era”

Join us and speak at the most awaited Conference of 2026 in Cairo!
You can discuss, share knowledge and experience with people from all around the world!

Welcome to a new chapter of DevOpsDays Cairo! While past events laid the groundwork for the AI era, we have now entered a reality where AI has transcended its role as a smart "assistant"; today, it functions as an autonomous "Co-Worker" agent, driving real-time decision-making within our pipelines.

However, this technological leap demands a focus on Sustainability in three vital dimensions: People, Process, and Product (tools).

This year, we dive deep into the delicate balance of the Agentic AI world: how to harness unprecedented speed and power without compromising the sustainability of our planet, our workflows, or ourselves.

In this year’s edition, we are looking for contributions in the following three pillars:

Pillar 1 - People Sustainability: The Human Element, Culture & Governance.
• Autonomous Governance, with Ethics, and Trust
• Anti-Burnout & Human Sustainability with Automation
• Cultural Psychological Safety
• The DevOps Team Skill Shift & New Emerging Roles
• Dealing with Agentic AI Co-worker

Pillar 2 - Process Sustainability: Autonomous Pipelines & AI-Empowered Technical Practices.
• Agentic AI in CI/CD
• Autonomous DevSecOps
• Adaptive Pipelines
• Sustainable Release Management
• MLOps: Automating the lifecycle of machine learning models through DevOps pipelines.
• GenAI Ops: Managing and deploying generative AI applications with robust DevOps practices.
• Vibe Engineering / Vibe Coding: Accelerating development cycles with AI-powered code automation.
• Autonomous Continuous Testing

Pillar 3 - Tools and Infra Sustainability: Infrastructure & Ecosystem Resilience.

• GreenOps & Carbon-Aware Engineering
• Sustainable Automation
• FinOps & Cloud Cost Optimization
• Reliability of AI Agents
• AI-powered infrastructure automation.
• AI-powered for incident management and support.
• Shift-Everywhere Security: Moving beyond "Shift Left" by using autonomous AI to continuously monitor, adapt, and enforce security policies throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Building and deploying AI/GenAI models at scale: Applying DevOps principles to scale AI deployments.

And any other topics relating to DevOps, Agentic AI, and Sustainability.

I. Session Formats:
• Standard Talks (30 mins): Deep dives and case studies from the trenches.
• Ignite Talks (10 mins): Fast-paced, around 20-slides presentations to spark ideas.

II. Submission Guidelines:
Share your practical experiences, not just theory. We value failures and lessons learned just as much as success stories. We are highly interested in submissions that include live examples, cases studies, and practical insights. Please ensure your proposal clearly outlines what the audience will take away from your session.

III. Submission Process:

The submission of the proposals will be based on two stages: abstract submission and complete presentation.

Stage 1: Abstract Submission:

  • The abstract is a concise summary of the proposal.
  • After accepting the abstract, the submitter will be notified with the acceptance and requested to submit the complete presentation.

Stage 2: Complete Presentation & Online Review

  • The full presentation will be reviewed by the evaluation committee.
  • Acceptance/ Refusal Notification: notifications of accepted/refused presentations will be communicated via email.
  • Review: in case of accepted presentations, the speaker might be requested to present a demo (virtual) to the evaluation committee.

IV. Important Dates:

  • Abstract Submission Deadline: 5 July 2026
  • Abstract Acceptance Notification: 19 July 2026
  • Complete Presentation Submission Deadline: 2 August 2026
  • Final Presentation Acceptance: 16 August 2026

Submissions close on 2026-07-05 23:59 (Africa/Cairo), 1 month, 1 week from now.
